Wood carving/whittling is an excellent hobby and there is a strong, generous and vibrant carving community in the area. Hone your skills to create wonderful gifts for friends and family. The class will focus on carving safety, basic cuts and opportunities to create projects with a variety of woods/techniques. Students under 16 must be accompanied by parent/adult also taking the class.

Pike Lake and Bay View Kids' Zone created fun pumpkin crafts for Halloween! Students painted on paper plates to make their own Jack-o'-lantern art and also used paper strips to construct their own 3-D pumpkins!
