Learn the science of winter weather from meteorologists at the National Weather Service! This class will cover winter weather safety and how meteorologists forecast winter weather, from a "Colorado Low" to the science of lake effect snow. Measurement of snow is of critical importance to the National Weather Service, and this class will also include tips on how to properly measure snow, and ice, and even how to do a "snow core" to measure the water content of the snowpack. Challenge yourself and your friends to complete a puzzle the fastest. The puzzle will be provided, and will not be released until the day of to keep the contest fair! Teams of four will start the afternoon puzzling in this race. Afterward, we will be having teams of two compete against each other. Snacks and drinks will be served during a little break in between races.

Are you a parent, grandparent, teacher, daycare provider, coach, youth leader, coworker, or friend to someone with a food allergy? Whether you are avoiding top-9 allergens, or just want to have a better understanding of food allergy this learning session is for you! Learn what a food allergy is, how to manage daily life, what the signs of a reaction are, and how to respond. This learning session is led by co-founders of ALEIA Project Allergy Awareness.

Develop your physical and mental health through various Contemporary and Traditional Martial Arts training. Participants can expect to learn Martial Arts history and philosophy, plus a great workout. This session includes light contact sparring and Belt Rank Promotions for qualified candidates. There will also be an additional fee of $20 for belt rank promotions & sparring equipment.
Lessons will take place on Mondays & Wednesdays at Solway Town Hall. Two sessions an evening will be offered. The first session will run from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The second session will take place from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Anyone 8 and above can participate in either session. One night a week will cost $40 per month. Two nights a week will cost $80 per month.
